Helen Nagorna, RMT
I am a Registered Massage Therapist, graduated from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapists. Since a very young age I learned about holistic therapies, massage, naturopathy and hydrotherapy from my father and was often practicing it on my entire family. By participating in the professional competitive sport, rhythmic gymnastics, and attending the sport school for 15 year I expanded my experience and knowledge of sport medicine, sport injury recovery and prevention. My passion about Massage Therapy intensified after my cervical spine injury recovery. With the help of Massage Therapy sessions along with healing modalities I learned from my father, I recovered fast. I wanted to share my experience and help others. I also worked as a Physician Assistant at the Wilderman Pain Management Clinic assisting several doctors with completing Clients’ Intakes, performing Therapeutic Tests and explaining treatment options. This experience helped me greatly during clients’ assessments and for creating treatment plans. I am practicing therapies for several decades and trained in hot stones massage, cupping, cranio-sacral therapy, reflexology, energy medicine and reiki. I am curious and constantly learning ancient healing practices used by our ancestors as well as modern technologies breakthrough for healing (like new generations of TENS machines, sound healing devices and more). I have a passion for yoga, Tai chi, Qigong, Pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, spending time in the nature and reading books. I am fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
