Chiropractic Initial Assessment and Treatment
Description
During the initial assessment and treatment the chiropractor will start with a thorough history of your injury, asking questions questions about how the pain began, or how the injury occured. The therapist willask about factorsthat contribute to your pain such as hobbies, sports, work, and previous injuries. Your relevant medical history will be reviewed with you and any test reports (MRI, CT scan, Ultrasound, X-ray) that you bring with you will discussed. The chiropractor will then do a physical assessment of your injury/problem area. The chiropractor will discuss their findings with you, after that they will privide a treatment (usually a combination of manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and restore mobility and specificnexercises that you can do at home to accelerate your progress). The chiropractor will come up with a treatment plan for you including recommendations regarding scheduling further treatments with you.
